Today we packed up and left Austria. It was raining when we left (we are getting used to rain), but nice and sunny when we arrived in Hungary. After 560km and six hours of driving we arrived at our destination, the Hilton Budapest. Yes, we are spoiling ourselves for a couple of nights and staying at the Hilton in Budapest. (Actually, the accommodation was free courtesty of Hilton Honours points accumulated through Paul's work). The location of the Hilton is magnificent. We are located in the castle district in Budapest, overlooking the Danube and nestled between St Matthews Church and the Fishermans Bastion.
The rooms are pretty nice as well. We have two adjoining double rooms, with plenty of room to stretch out.After checking into our room, we went for an evening stroll through the castle district. We walked arount St Matthews Church and the Fishermans Bastion, before wandering down to the Daunube where we could see the Hungarian parliament house. Lots of beautiful old building and opportunites for photographs. Afterwards, we found a small restaurant and stopped in for a traditional Hungarian dinner.

We might not be able to blog for the next 4 or so days as we will be leaving to go to family! Thanks heaps Trudie for always commenting! Your comments make it worth checking everyday. :-)

hey guys, well you were a bit spoilt staying in the Hilton, i hope it was worth it. Wow, i didnt expect much of Budapest but hey it looks quite nice. Keep up the photos guys, they are actually getting quite used for wallpaper on certain girls desk tops. Love you all, and have fun seeing relies. Ling and girls

well l am shocked it worked we hope you are having lots of fun any were you go the time seems to be going so quick only 22 days left go l will be at the airport when you get home just to make sure you are really here, so l can hug all of you are my boys doing their homework they better be there journals l mean so l can read all about what they thought about all nice places you have been love you all
Well off to venice,are you going to have a ride on a gondala if you do you better get paul to sing to you dont get your feet too wet will you l bet the boys will love it there how are you keeping up with every were are you tired yet l told you you needed a nanny l am still green and getting more so but l am glad you are having a great time love you all
