Wow it's day 26 and we are nearly half way on our holiday! We are doing our best to keep up with our blogging and again we thank those that post on our blog.

Today we decided to sleep in until 8am but being in such a beautiful, old German town, we were woken up at 7am by the clock and church bells. Such a beautiful sound to wake up to. We got ready and went down for our free German breakfast. Love the bread rolls, cheeses and sliced meats. We then decided to do some exploring aroung the old town and just wander wherever the streets took us. There are a lot of shops here selling souvenirs of all sorts. Our favourite shop Kathie Wolfahrt- is like walking into a fairytale full of christmas decorations, beer steins and many other beautiful ornaments. Yes we did spend a little bit of money, but not just for ourselves. I think we went into every shop in the old city. Lunch was spaghetti icecream, chocolate torte, a schneeball and apple strudel.
We are enjoying the food in Europe a lot and making sure we have all our favourites as well traditional foods.
After a little break in our room, we took a stroll to the Criminal Museum. Here there are many items used for torturing people who committed crimes such as talking too much, acting like a pig, being a gossip, quarrelling, baking bread too small/big, adultery and many others. Some of the items used were shame masks, iron maiden, stretching racks, thumb screws and the list goes on. I did find a few fantastic ideas for punishing naughty children. If you want some ideas just let me know and I would be happy to share them. :-)

..more souvenir shops, more photos, more walking and then dinner in our accommodation restaurant again. A great day had by all!!!!

Oh my, now the memories are flooding back. Im truly jealous. What a beautiful photo of you and Paul, hmmmmm, jealous. Hope you had an amazing time showing the boys around one of the most beautiful towns in Germany. Hey you wanna know who won the Autralian Amazing Race? It was ..............hahahaha youll just have to wait, not telling you :P..........well have a fab time, you know i should be there....love you lots.
