We started the day with a traditional Hungarian breakfast of Bread, Paprika and Kolbasz. We were offered cornflakes or toast, but Daniel especially enjoys the Paprika and Kolbasz. - In fact they are his two favourite Hungarian words. Afterwards, we jumped into the car and drove to Nagybanhedyes to vist Auntie Eva, (Paul's Dad's sister). The last time we saw here was in 2004 when she visited Australia. It was nice to see and her Husbad Joszi. She had a large cake waiting for us and we enjoyed looking at some of her souvenirs from Australia and remembering the things we did when she came to visit
Next we drove back to Beckescsaba and visited another cousin Joszi and his wife Kathi. Kathi also had a cake waiting for us. (More eating!). One of Joszi's sons (Gabi) runs a pizza restaurant, so after visiting their other son Thommy, who runs a small mobile phone sales and service shop (and was able to fix Mazz's Iphone), we went to the pizza restaurant for a late lunch. (more eating). Joszi's daugher, Lilla, also joined us having come back from gymnastics training. (she trains 5 hours a day and hopefully may represent Hungary at the London Olympics).
After saying goodbye to Joszi and family, Locsi and Bebe took us to see a nearby town called Gyula. We were joined by Timmi for a walk around the town, an icecream (more eating!!) and a look at the local castle. A very beautiful town and a nice way to spend the evening. When we arrived back at Locsi's house there were some pancakes waiting for us for supper, Just in case we were still hungry!! (Paul managed to squeeze in a few!)

how lovely for Paul to catch up on family. the food looks amazing but so much., those bread things are huge.
l bet you all will have put on weight all the cakes and what have you, you have been eating.Daniel has got a funny look on his face just mucking around l guess,the kangaroo cake looks nice save me a piece,well l guess you cant because you are not there anymore darn.what is the weather like at presant it is coming down in buckets and l am outside how do l get inside (help)l could almost sleep out here l have every thing except the loo and a cup of tea ha ha.well l will catch up later
